It was a peaceful July morning, high up in the Dolomites. This alpine lake is a real marvel to the eyes, nestled between some of the most famous peaks of Dolomites, like Tre Cime di Lavaredo in the background. No wonder the Dolomites are listed as UNESCO world heritage. The unique color of Lago di Sorapis is given by tiny rock dusts, carried by the waters coming from the generating glacier.

A little church set in the most beautiful framework. That evening I witnessed an astonishing change in the light and weather conditions: from hopeless rain and fog to a vibrant pink and orange sunset.
